Application for membership is accepted from persons having a common bond. In CS Credit Union's case, that common bond is employment (see below). Immediate families, such as grandparents, parents, children, siblings, and spouses of existing members are eligible for full membership privileges. Remember, once you receive membership in the credit union, you are always a member, regardless of whether your employment changes.

Employees of CommScope Inc. of North Carolina (headquartered in Hickory, North Carolina and its subsidiaries located in the United States; employees of CPI Satcom & Antenna Technologies, Inc. (formerly known as General Dynamics and Prodelin) located in Catawba County, North Carolina; North Carolina employees of GI Communications Division (formerly known as Videocipher- a division of General Instrument); spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of the credit union; employees of the credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of their immediate families; and organizations of such persons.

To become a member, you must have at least "one share" in the credit union. The "one share" means that you have $25.00 on deposit in a share savings account.
